Welcome to part 2 of a 7 part series in which I interview author, teacher, healer, and Astral Projection Master Robert Bruce.
In this series of articles you’re going to find out everything you’ve ever wanted to know about Astral Projection, OBE (Out of Body Experiences), Kundalini, and much, much more.
In this article:
- Interacting with the real world in your astral body
- Possessing someone else’s body
- Astral sex
- Time travel
- Astral projections vs reality
Can your astral body interact with the real world?
Michael Frank: When you astral project during the day, can your astral body interact people in the real world? And if so, in what ways? And what would happen if you tried to enter into somebody else’s body with your astral body? Like what if you tried to enter into my body with your astral body? What would I likely feel or experience?
Robert Bruce: Yes a real time astral projector can enter the body of an awake, or sleeping, but particularly an awake human being or animal. You can actually enter into their body. Now this is how it works and I’ve done a lot of experimenting with it over the years, even though I don’t often talk about it…
About 20% percent of people, have strong, natural psychic shielding, and when you approach them as an astral projector, it is like there is a thick glass wall around them, like a force field extending about 10 feet around a person, and it’s like you hit a glass wall, and you can’t get near them.
But the other 80% percent of people out there have varying levels of shielding, and probably 20% percent of people have no natural shielding around them whatsoever. So as an astral projector you can just walk straight into them. So there are some people you can get into with a lot of effort, some people you can walk into any time, just literally walk into them, and some people you can’t get into at all.
I’ve done experiments in shopping centers, they’re great for this, and I prefer to do this with complete strangers because if you do it with somebody you know, you might see something you shouldn’t see. If it’s somebody you know, it might give you an unfair vantage point. But with complete strangers, whatever you see, it’s meaningless to you, it doesn’t mean anything.
So if you’re moving through a shopping mall, there’s a lot of people around, and I look for a group of people walking together and as I move towards them in real time, I spread my arms out and I pass through them. And often, not always, but often, the whole group will stop and they’ll look at each other and say “Did you feel that?!”
It’s almost like someone walked over your grave. You know that feeling when you get shivers up your whole body for a few seconds, that’s often an indication that an astral projector or a spirit has passed through you or close to you. Like within a couple of meters around you to where your energy extends to. If you broach that area, the person will feel it. They will feel that something is happening. Now of course the bulk of people don’t know what it means when you get the somebody just walked over my grave feeling, and often you will find groups of people who will experience that together and they just don’t know why, but this is why, it’s often because an astral projector or a spirit has just past through you or near you.
It could also be an astral projected cat or dog doing this. Any astral projector. The human body mind, we have this sensitive field that extends out for a few meters around us. And if any living thing or spirit entity comes within that field, it sets off an alarm that we feel as cold shivers. Someone walked over your grave failing. That’s how we feel it.
Can you possess someone and enter their body?
Michael Frank: Can you only pass through them or in the case of a human or an animal or a shark or a whale, can you actually enter and possess their body, for example, and see things through their eyes and feel what they’re feeling? Or is that not possible?
Robert Bruce: Good question. You’re kind of cornering me here. I don’t normally talk about this. But you have effectively cornered me. Yes you absolutely can. An astral projector is a spirit, and spirits can move in and out of people, and overshadow them is probably a better term. You can definitely enter the body mind of another person and overshadow that person. You can influence that person and you can also read their mind and their history.
It is very easy to do, but I can’t describe how to do it, it’s like looking through the memories of a person as if they were pages on a gigantic photo album. And you can do this very, very rapidly. You can go through a person’s life in like 10 seconds and looking at these pictures of all these scenes which are all their life events, it seems too break the memory down to events, and if you look at an interesting event and just pay attention to it and feel yourself moving it, the next minute you will enter that event and from the perspective of the person, you will experience that event through their eyes and ears and feel what they felt.
So suddenly you are there and this person, let’s say they’re getting married, you go into them and suddenly you’re standing at the altar where the priest looks beside you, and there’s your husband or your wife next to you and you’re experiencing that memory and the feelings, and with just a simple act of will you kind of pull back. It’s like putting your head into a bucket of warm water with a diving mask on. You go into it and you see what’s in the bucket, and then you lift your head back out again. It’s very quick. Incredibly fast.
And while you are overshadowing a person, you can influence them. However there are limitations to this. For example, if you overshadow the body of a nonsmoker or a nondrinker, you cannot, and I’ve tried, make a nonsmoker go and buy cigarettes. You just can’t do it. It just won’t work. It’s like it doesn’t equate to the person. They might feel this sudden urge and think to themselves “Oh, that’s weird” and ignore it.
Now if you have somebody that is on a very strict diet, you can influence that person to go and buy a candy bar. You can make that person go and buy a snickers bar. They won’t feel good about it, and you’ll find resistance there, but it’s very easy to push them to go and buy a snickers bar and eat it.
However I find that if you spend more than a few minutes with a person, and particularly if you push them to do something, they start feeling really bad and nauseous, and they start to feel really dissociated because in effect it’s like as you enter a person, it’s like you are pushing their astral body partly out of their own body, so you get a kind of disassociation occurring.
Now if you push really hard like a spirit could do, particularly a demon or something like that, you can completely displace the person and eject their astral body into the astral. So you could take complete control of that person and the person will be floating beside themselves like a little puppet on a string who can’t do anything, they won’t be able to connect with their body anymore. But you can’t get rid of them. I mean how long do you keep this up for?
But that’s essentially what happens when a person is possessed, and there are degrees of possession starting with light influences, overshadowing like possession, all the way up to what I call virtual puppetry, which is where the entity completely pushes you could say the astral body out of a person so they no longer, so they’ve taken control of the physical body as well.
Michael Frank: What would happen if you were to astral project into the body of demon possessed person? (Note to the reader I’m being cheeky here)
Robert Bruce: Not a healthy idea. I’ve tried similar things to that. Not exactly that because that doesn’t sound like a safe thing to do. But this is what an exorcism does. I mean, in the astral if you banish the earth element, and all the negative entities that trouble humankind and possess people are all earth element beings, earth bound beings, meaning that they are connected to the surface of the earth.
The Pentagram banishment that I teach, starting from the bottom left corner and going clockwise, specifically banishes the earth element, and it is a very, very powerful banishment if done properly, and it will remove most, if not all negative entities, even if it’s only temporarily, they will vacate that space because you banish the earth element of which they are. And that’s why it’s so effective. I can’t tell you beyond that how it works. I don’t have that knowledge. I just know it works.
Michael Frank: I’ve heard you can have sex within the astral realm. Is that true? And if someone astral projects and they have sex in the astral realm, first of all, who are they having sex with? How does it work?
Robert Bruce: Yes you can have sex in the astral realm. However, there’s a big difference between astral sex in the real time zone (the real world) and having astral sex in the astral planes, and during lucid dreams.
If you have astral sex in the real time zone, which is like being a spirit in the real world, it’s almost instantaneous in the effect it has.
In real time all of your senses are greatly enhanced and are very sensitive, and that also applies to sex, it’s greatly enhanced. So if you’re astral projecting and you enter a place in the real time zone (the real world) and you see a nice looking woman that you think is hot, you just have to look at her in a sexual way even though she’s across the room, maybe 10 feet away from you, maybe imagine her naked, and that’s enough to trigger the real time astral sex process.
And when that happens it’s very difficult to stop it, I don’t even know if it can be stopped once you trigger it from a man’s perspective, it feels like your genitals are suddenly connected to the genitals of the other person, and your genitals are suddenly a lot bigger and they move up through the entire body of the other person. And usually orgasm is only a few seconds away, so it’s over very, very quickly. It’s like astral premature ejaculation in a sense, within 10 seconds it’s all over. And in the real time astral zone that will also cause a physical orgasm in the person doing it. So if you do it, it’s a good idea to have a box of tissues next to the bed.
Michael Frank: How is sex different in the astral dimensions?
Robert Bruce: It’s different because it’s not instantaneous. You could say that the astral planes are more dimensionally distant from the real time zone and from the physical body, so there’s more distance there. Sex with a partner in the astral planes is closer to normal sex in the real world, between a physical man and a woman.
I’ll put it this way: Real-time astral sex is a problem. You really want to avoid it because when you trigger it, you’ve just ended the astral projection. If you’re having a good real time astral projection, it’s going to end because your physical body’s going to orgasm and that will pull you back to your body and the experience will end.
Mind you, countering that, having sex with another person is quite an intense thing. It forms a very strong memory. So if you do that, you kind of guarantee that you’re going to remember that experience.
Michael Frank: Can you as an astral projector go back and forth in time?
Robert Bruce: Yes you can. I don’t speak very much about this. It is possible. You can do it. You can go back in time, you can go forward in time. And when you go forward in time, you’re looking at probabilities. There are some things that I’ve done with my astral projection experiments that I don’t really talk about, because it’s not the sort of thing I want to talk about or reveal. There’s some knowledge that’s very dangerous.
Michael Frank: Going back in time, can you therefore visit the time of Jesus or Buddha or Krishna or the dinosaurs to see what they really looked like? Is that possible?
Robert Bruce: You could. If those beings actually existed. I don’t know. If you tried to astral project and go back in time to look at a holy religious figure, how real is what you are seeing? And how much of what you are seeing is based upon the beliefs that you hold in your heart? If you have strong religious beliefs, it is certain that you would project something to fit those beliefs.
Astral projections vs reality
Michael Frank: I was going to ask you about that because I’ve drunk Ayahuasca about 60 times, and what I’ve learnt is that you can have three types of experiences. You can have an experience which is purely from Ayahuasca, you can have an experience which is largely a projection of your own mind, and then you can have an experience, which I think is the vast majority, where it’s a combination and you need experience to be able to differentiate between the two. So that sounds like what you’re talking about in regards to actual projection. Your mind projects things which may or may not be there. Is that fair to say?
Robert Bruce: Very much so. With astral projection and lucid dreaming, if a lot of your beliefs are based in fantasy, you are likely to perceive something in the past or the future based upon your beliefs which may or may not be true. Your mind is going to work with your beliefs to build a projection.
It’s like if you ever had a wake induced lucid dream? A wake induced lucid dream is so powerful, it’s probably the most powerful out of body type experience you can have. It is much more powerful in a way than astral projection. In a wake induced lucid dream, the reality you enter is so real and solid that you cannot tell it apart from physical reality.
Wake induced lucid dreams
Michael Frank: A wake induced lucid dream, is that the same as a regular lucid dream where you wake up within the dream? Or is it slightly different?
Robert Bruce: It is slightly different. It is much more powerful. The difference between a lucid dream where you become conscious during the process of a dream and a wake induced lucid dream, and a better name for that would actually be a mental projection into the real timezone of the mental dimension.
All dreaming occurs in the mental dimension of mind, now a wake induced lucid dream is actually much, much easier to achieve than a conscious astral projection because you have to enter there with no break in consciousness. Now, if there is a break in consciousness, and you enter the wake induced lucid dreaming state, well it just becomes a lucid dream. You will find it is not as crisp.
For example in a wake induced lucid dream, if you smell your hands, you can smell them, and they smell like your hands. If you bite your finger, you can taste your finger and it hurts. You have pain, pleasure, normal senses, you can feel gravity. If you pick up a chocolate bar and try to eat it, you have to unwrap it and it can be difficult, it’s not just falling apart in front of you, you’ve got to bite it with your teeth and peel it, the texture and the temperature and the taste, it’s identical to eating a real chocolate bar of that type. Everything is absolutely real, but you know that it’s not. You know that you entered this state from the fully awake state. So basically you are in this new reality and you are like a God because you know it’s not real.
But it can contain real content. You can do a lot of things with it. Even going to the past or the future. A wake induced lucid dream is a really good way to look into the past and the future. If you want to look into the future, you find an elevator, or you just have to ask a few people “Where’s the elevator?” and they’ll point you in a direction and suddenly there’s an elevator there. And once you get into the elevator you push the highest floor holding the firm intention, even saying a little mantra “I want to see the future” “I want to see the future”
Or you can be much more specific than that. If you want to see a specific thing, when you get out of the elevator you will find that you will see what you intended to see. You will see something from the future, which will be accurate. I’ve done that many times and verified it based upon my intentions.
The winning lottery numbers
Michael Frank: Couldn’t you just go forward in time a week or two and get the winning lottery numbers? That’s what a skeptic would say. Isn’t that theoretically possible even if it was to break a karmic law?
Robert Bruce: I don’t have any evidence or experience to say that there is such a thing as karmic law. That’s something that needs to be looked at. Really think about it. If you have beliefs about things like karma, what do you base those beliefs on? Are you basing it on a book you’ve read or things that other people have told you? What are you basing that on?
Michael Frank: But coming back to the question though of the future, is that something that one could do? Could you find out the winning lottery numbers of next week and make yourself a fortune?
Robert Bruce: Yes. You can do it. I mean people have been known to dream the winning lottery numbers. I know one psychic who was asked this question in a public meeting with hundreds of people there. One of the last questions was “What are the winning lotto numbers!” and he just rattled off six numbers and people wrote them down and talked about them and there were a lot of people who bought tickets based on those numbers and they all won, but instead of winning like $10,000,000, everybody got like a few thousand dollars. But the psychic himself didn’t buy a lottery ticket, he just answered the question, and just rattled it off the top of his head.
I’ve done this sort of thing myself. I had somebody come up to me once with those cards they use to test psychics with (Zener cards) they’ve got triangles, circles, crosses, wavy lines etc. they’re psychic testing cards and he said “Robert, what card am I holding?” And I said: Wavy lines. Next one? Circle. Next one? Cross. I went through the entire deck. One hundred percent right! He said “How did you do that?” I said “I don’t know! Try and do it again!” But the next time it didn’t work.
Michael Frank: Coming back to the winning lottery numbers, is that something that if you chose to do, you could do definitively? Or is it something you may or may not be able to do? Sometimes I hear clairvoyants say they either see something or they don’t, or they get an intuition or a vision or they don’t, but they don’t get to choose what they see. Is that something you could definitely say you could do: See the winning lottery numbers?
Robert Bruce: You can’t guarantee what you’re going to see. You either see it or you don’t. Sometimes you could see a projection of what you think it would be. It’s like your mind will just make it up in front of you. But getting real time definite 10/10 results is just not gonna happen. You would have to do a series of experiments on that to ascertain it. Visuals always have a question mark next to them because they’re so subjective.
Astral projections vs reality
Michael Frank: How do you know whether what you are seeing is a projection of your mind or is actually there? For example: If you decided to go back into the past or to seek out aliens and go to different planets and galaxies etc. How do you know whether what you are seeing is actually there or is simply a projection of your mind?
Robert Bruce: The simplest test you can do for an astral projection is to get a deck of playing cards, shuffle them, and without looking at them, put four cards face up on your wardrobe, and then when you astral project and come out of your body, go and look at the cards, and then come back into your body and capture the memory, and write down what the cards were and see if you got it right. If they’re correct and you got it right, then you know that it was a real time, accurate observation.
I’ve had countless times where I’ve proved it to myself by seeing things that I could not possibly know unless what I’d seen in the astral was correct. That’s the only way. Like if I astral project in real time, and then I go looking through my neighborhood, and I’ve done this many, many times, I look for something new that’s happening on the other side of town, and maybe I’ll see a road closed and a detour and the roads being dug up and I come back and write that down, then the next day I’ll go for a drive to that part of town to see if there actually is a detour there and usually there is exactly as I saw it.
Michael Frank: But what if it’s something you don’t have any experience with, and can’t verify? For example: An alien from a different planet, or someone like Jesus or Buddha or Krishna that you’ve never seen before in real life? How do you know whether you’re seeing them as they actually are, and it’s not just a hallucination or a projection of your own mind? Because that doesn’t seem to be something you can necessarily verify.
Robert Bruce: You don’t know. There is no way to verify those things at all. There’s no way to check it. It’s like access to infinite knowledge. It downloads into your mind and then you have to test it out. If this is music you downloaded, does it sound good when you play it? Do you like it? If it works it justifies itself. If it’s scientific, you can do an experiment to verify whether it works or not. And it could be good, or it might be stupid, but you can’t verify certain things like meeting religious figures. There’s absolutely no way to verify that experience for most people.
All you can do is understand your own belief systems and The Catch Basket Concept (explained later in the series), which you apply to yourself. And start to verify simple things over the years, like how many times you’ve accurately looked at the cards on top of your wardrobe, but apart from that, you don’t know, but your experience with other things will tell you how likely it is that you were seeing things as they actually are.
